Cool Down With Some Refreshing Drinks

Whether you're planning a spring picnic or hosting a backyard get- together, serving the perfect drink options will keep your guests happy. Instead of serving boring carbonated sodas or juice, why not put together some beautiful, creative, and refreshing drinks? Great Harvest in Spokane has some easy and delicious drink ideas you can make all on your own.

Strawberry Cucumber Lemonade

Lemonade is one of the go-to options when it comes to refreshing drinks, but why not take your normal lemonade one step further? Start by blending 2 cups of strawberries and then pass them through a sieve to get all their delicious juice. In a pitcher, throw together your favorite lemonade recipe and add in the strawberry juice and some cucumber slices. For added sweetness, stir in some natural honey or agave honey. You can also add in a liter of sparkling water for some carbonation.

Blackberry Tea

Making a delicious and refreshing sweet tea doesn't have to be hard. Start by bringing four cups of water to a boil. Remove the water from the stove and proceed to steep ten regular size tea bags in your pot of water. After allowing them to steep for an hour, remove them and stir in 3/4 of a cup of sugar until it's dissolved. Pour your tea into a pitcher and stir in 2 more cups of water. Next, puree a cup of blackberries and add them to your tea. Stir everything together and serve cold with lemon and fresh blackberries.
